It's been proven time and time again that the Philippines is a formidable competitor in the global Hip Hop dance community. We have won several awards including World Championships and runner-ups. And this year, we are on the journey to gold again, and now it's time for The Alliance to take claim. They have qualified to compete at the 2016 World Hip Hop Dance Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada, and at the World of Dance 2016 Finals in Pasadena, California. And in line with these competitions there comes the necessary expenses for all the members of the competing team, which is why they have organized this year's fundraising dance concert, Alliance Send-Off 3. It is happening this coming Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater inside Ateneo de Manila University. In usual form, the Alliance Send-Off 3 is also a gathering of Philippine dance community that aims to create a stronger bond for everyone, and a chance to uplift the culture.
In addition to the performances by the Alliance crew, there will be guest performances by APC Dance Company, J Squad, Legit Status, MCHS's Sayawatha Dance Troupe, UE Armada, Power Impact Dancers and another Philippine representative in the Megacrew division of HHI 2016 - the UP Streetdance Club.
