Status releases their upcoming issue with Nicki Minaj on the cover. This issue is dubbed as their Style Issue, and it is not named like that for nothing. Henry Holland and Bumsuk Choi are featured in the magazine. If that's not enough, locally they are locked too, Herbert Custodio, Edmund Mallari and Kix Suarez for more menswear guidance. The internationally-known local fashion brand, Proud Race presents their Fall/Winter 2012 2013 "Dark Waves" collection video and lookbook. Staying true to their aesthetic, the collection boasts simplicity with light pink and black base colors. As unique as their clothing structures, it is a very versatile yet defined set of clothes. Chief is about to release their remaining pieces from their Fall 2012 collection, Urban Tripper. Expect their button-ups to be available by the end of this month. Taken around the city it aims to encourage people to explore and journey in their own city to find appreciation for it.

Bloom Arts Festival 2012

Bloom Arts Festival will have around 60-75 of the most prolific artists. They will exhibit their works in different venues in Cubao X on September 29, 2012 to celebrate creativity and the progress of the art. The video uses music from Similar Objects and was edited by Paolo Ruiz and Jellicoe Lim. It displays the string art of Tof Zapanta and John Ed de Vera. With the level of artistry and craft put into the previewed piece, expect it to be a visually inspiring and wondrous event.

Supremo (2012) Full Trailer

This year has got to be a good year for film. Here we see is a take on the life of our fellow Filipinos who fought for freedom back in the days where Spain was king in our soil. Focused on the journey of Andres Bonifacio and his men, this is truly an interesting story. Directed by Richard V. Somes. Starring Alfred Vargas, Mon Confiado, Hermie Concepcion, Nicco Manalo, Alex Vincent Medina, and many more. It is expected to be ready for showing by late this year. The up-and-coming well-known DJ, Nix Damn P released his mixtape for Status Magazine titled Chase n' Hustle. It is in line with their August issue, dubbed as the Hustle Issue, where Nix is also featured. Included in the mix are songs of Macklemore, French Montana, G-Eazy and more, which also can be seen in the issue.
