It's Alice in Wonderland by way of the Third World in the music video of Blaster by Nikolo. A Tacloban-born and bred artist of the visual and now musical persuasion, Nikolo's debut single is EDM in all its frenetic, nocturnal energy. The twist exists in Blaster's MV; the characters which populate a familiar Filipino set-up—Zumba moms and cheeky kids in what seems to be a local fiesta—take a turn for the strange when they dance to the crisp club beats of a DJ in a suit. If that doesn't quite cut one's oddball quota, there's an animal mascot and a bonfire, too. Color us curious!
