Fotosemana Manila 2015 is a micro-festival organized by Thousandfold. It is an event focused in exploring the many facets of local and global contemporary photography. As a partnership with Spain's IED Madrid and India's Emaho Magazine, the event's highlight will be a Masterclass Workshop and Exhibition by Spanish Artist/Photographer Nicolás Combarro. In addition, Fotosemana Manila 2015 will host other activities such as Portfolio Reviews by local and international guest experts, curated Public Talks and Slideshow Projections, Photobook Presentations, and Flash Book Launches, and an international Photobook Showcase in collaboration with the Asia-Pacific Photobook Archive (Australia), Gato Negro Editorial (Mexico), Indie Photobook Library (United States), The Philanthropic Museum (Singapore), B-Side, artbooks.ph, The Office of Culture & Design, Pablo Galleries, Pioneer Studios (Philippines), and more.
The Micro Festival of Contemporary Photography will commence today at Thousandfold 5pm onwards.
