During Fil-Am hip-hop artist Bambu's visit to the Philippines last November 2013, he managed to grace us with a homegrown EP titled "5 AM In Manila". Released via UPRISING Records, Music Colony, and Beatrock Music, the five-song EP featured local producers and artists to help Bambu out and fully connect with the Filipino audience. One of the songs is "Shabs", which is a local street slang for crystal meth. In this track, Bambu tells us about a drug induced caper who robbed a sex-tourist. He got chased around Makati up to Pasay before police officials finally got him and shot him to death. Music is produced by Arbie Won. The track also features turntablist extraordinare DJ Supreme Fist. Shot by Christian Acuna and Kevin Vea. Directed and animated by Paco Raterta.
