Converse Philippines recently organized the CONS Project Manila, where they worked with two local artists and a regional skate brand ambassador. The project was done to express what CONS is all about, which is inspired by the CONS Fall 2014 collection. The CONS Project Manila is a one-day event at the Pelota Court, Las Pinas City. The event was focused on a Do-It-Yourself skateboard ramp workshop courtesy of the Converse team and Jeff Gonzales, and highlighted local street art with live art sessions of Rai Cruz and Nemo Aguila. It is great that world-known brands are also already taking part in aiding the growing local culture in the Philippines, specifically street art and skateboarding.
