Heavyhands Barbershop by Mak Azores and Ez Abinal

Photos from Bespoke Man

Two out of the three founders of Slick Barbers Co., Mak Azores and Ez Abinal, have bade farewell to the collective to build Heavyhands Barbershop -- which offers a break from the usual trendy barbershop branding that we often see. It's straightforward and yet projects its own unique charm with the artworks and glass windows that add character to the place. Owners Mak and Ez however promise that, in spite of the brand's divergence from the common, clients can still expect the same quality of classic haircuts. From fades to pompadours, you name it. The barbershop started operating last March and requires that clients set an appointment beforehand. You can set an appointment here.

Heavyhands Barbershop is found in the space previously occupied by streetwear shop Red Trend where Slick Barbers Co. regularly hold their pop-ups. The shop is open from 1pm to 9pm on Tuesdays until Fridays, and 11am to 6pm during weekends.
