Saucony partners with Toshikazu Nozaka for the Special Edition Tokyo Pack

Premium running lifestyle footwear brand, Saucony has recently launched the Special Edition Tokyo Pack which includes the silhouettes; Kinvara 7 and DXN Trainers. The brand partnered with Japanese artist Toshikazu Nozaka who was a pro-skateboarder in the early 90's. He is known for his great skill and knowledge with Japanese culture and traditional tattoo. Saucony collaborated with him to express Japanese heritage, and to specifically commemorate the Tokyo Marathon. He fully conveyed those messages by having cherry blossoms in black, white and silver as the primary design. Both models share the same influences in design but in different approaches. The Tokyo Kinvara 7 shows a clearer view of the "Sakura" or the cherry blossom flowers at the back accenting the end of a sleek swift-looking overall design. While the Tokyo DXN Trainers explores Toshikazu's tattooing roots more with a design inspired by Japanese prints in the early 1800s. The pattern is evenly distributed around the shoes, juxtaposed on black suede and silver accents. The cherry blossom design is incorporated in its insoles. The Saucony Special Edition Tokyo Pack is now available in Complex Lifestyle Store, at their brick and mortar in Glorietta 3 and their online store.
