Hailing from Southern Metro Manila, streetwear brand Threedown comes up with a documentation of the latest musings of their skate team. Check out their new audio visual presentation titled Banayad. Spare six minutes of your life as Chase Gawat, Christian Cuyos, Don Lopez, CJ Barba, and Simon Rosales paint their tricks on rugged street spots, as these places are mostly the only canvas that their city can provide. The video exudes a nostalgic feel, perhaps an ode to the early days of skate videos. And the right spots are definitely hit, as the treatment makes some of the videos of today's biggest skate brands look overtly cinematic. Shot and edited by Ken Yamaguchi.
