Last August 1-2, Purveyr, in partnership with Our Awesome Planet, hosted a weekend at Club Balai Isabel for those who wish to learn more about Instagram and photography, in general. We invited three of Manila's most sought-after Instagramers to share their Instagram stories and talk about their chosen topics: Marvin Conanan on the Instagram Culture, Jelito de Leon on Shooting Stills & Spaces, and Kimi Juan on Traveling & Mobile Photography.
The day kicked off with Marvin's take on Instagram, the culture that surrounds it, and what it entails to be part of the rapidly growing community. Jelito, then, gets his turn on the mic to educate the participants on shooting still life and the importance of good lighting & composition. To cap off the first day, we give the floor to Kimi to prep the participants for Day 2's trek by giving tips & tricks in shooting outdoors. The participants welcomed the second day with a trek to bask in the scenic view of the Taal Volcano Crater, and apply what they have learned from the three speakers.
