Basketball is practically religion in the Philippines. That's why it makes perfect sense for Nike to launch a reality documentary series that follows young local ballers who strive to go beyond their limits. Formally titled "Rise", the series pits participants in a 6-week cycle of living like a Nike athlete, learning from top coaches and trying out the latest in Nike basketball innovations from apparel to footwear. To top it all off, the series will air on TV5 starting in July with special Nike Rise t-shirts and footwear available in Nike stores not too long after.
