This French-American Bistro is Right Up Your Alley

There has been a lot of activity at The Grove lately – and no, I'm not talking about the on-going construction. The Grove Retail Row is steadily becoming a hub for new retail concepts to cater to its ever-growing community. A supermarket, a local barbershop, plus food establishments here and there, these brands have certainly made themselves rather comfortable in the confines of The Grove.

Among these is French-American joint, Alley, which opened just early this year but have already transitioned from a neighborhood sandwich shop to a bistro serving up hearty meals. Don't get me wrong, their sandwiches and sides are superb, but it's their new dishes gaining quite the attention. Did I mention that most of what goes on their dishes are made in-house? Alley takes pride in their freshly baked bread, homemade meats, house churned ice cream - just among others. There is also a good variety in their drinks menu: from coffee or tea to kickstart your day to local beer and cocktails to cap it off. Alley is hard to miss with its inside-out interiors inspired by little alleys in Europe; Imagine brick walls, hanging bulbs, street art, and a vertical garden to keep the place looking and feeling alive. Pay Alley a visit when you find yourself waltzing around that side of town, it won't disappoint.
