Naxional is coming to town! This South American-themed diner was conceptualized Raymond Magdaluyo, who wanted to bring Latin American culture to Manila. Many of the founding member and partners, like the Matsunagas, were South-American raised and it’s kind of like bringing a little piece of them home to the Philippines.
They serve traditional home-cooked South American recipes, much like how close and heartwarming home cooking is to us Filipinos. Their menu consists of starters, salads, soups, entrees (both for sharing and for one), grilled meat, sandwiches and desserts. They also have a variety of South American cocktails up for serving in their al fresco bar. What to feast your eyes (or mouth) on? Their famous Elote, a Latino fave street food made from grilled corn sprinkled with chilli butter and topped with mayo, is to die for! Their Pollo Peruano, a dish from Peru, is also a must to try. And for dessert? Try their Dulce De Leche Cheesecake!
If you’re looking for a taste of South American flavours, head over to Naxional. Located at 2nd floor Uptown Parade, BGC. For more updates, follow them on their social media accounts: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
