Last July 21, 2015, DC Philippines celebrated the much-anticipated yearly worldwide skateboarding event, Go Skateboarding Day. The brand hosted the DC Global Skate Jam for one whole day at the Backyard Skatepark in Laguna. The event held a day of camaraderie around the culture of skateboarding. Skateboarders around the Philippines went to celebrate with them. Besides the free skate at the skatepark all day, the DC team held competitions to make it a lot more interesting for the event-goers. The Best Grind, Longest Ollie and Best Run competitions were bagged by local skateboarder, Rasheed Al Rasheed while being second in the Bowl Jam competition to Richard Sanchez. And lastly, Lornel Bihasa won the highest ollie. To cap it all off, they ended the day with music from Jejaview, Faintlight and Indio-I.
