Purveyr Magazine Encore at Hey Neighbor!

Not long after we closed out the #PurveyrMagazineLaunchTour, our friends at The Belle and Dragon invited us to do an encore in their ongoing Thursday habit, Hey Neighbor! We gladly agreed to do it since the event we will do represents another culture that we didn't get to tap in the stops we just had. In partnership with Hey Neighbor!, on February 25 from 10PM - 2:30AM, we are hosting an all vinyl night in The Belle and Dragon, Palanca St., Legazpi Village, Makati City with sets by The Diegos and Mulan. Come celebrate with us this coming Thursday, appreciate music and mood from authentic vinyl records. Get to experience an entertainingly unusual vibe with DJs having crates of records beside them and a very different yet interesting playlist for the night. Team Manila launches Breathe Adventure Collection

The new season calls for new adventures, so pack your bags with Team Manila's Spring/Summer 2016 Collection perfect for your city to sea expedition. With shirts and accessories decked in designs that boast of our local culture, Team Manila makes certain that you take pride of our Philippine shores while soaking up the sun. It's always nice to see the brand come out with products that's truly ours, so in an intimate gathering at M Cafe, Team Manila launched the said collection while keeping the local theme in tact. The brand gave everyone a first-hand experience of their production process as guests took part in screen printing tropical designs on their very own tote bags. There was also a performance by local talent - graphic artist, fashion designer and musician, Reese Lansangan.

Denuo brings a flow to the ebb in fashion

Denuo drops a new collection called Agos under their Itangi line. The brand is rooted on ethically and environmentally sustainable principles, in which the trio of founders advocate "responsibly stylish fashion consumerism". One-off reclaimed vintage pieces comprise the sub-brand Itangi, it brings a slowed-down tasteful wabi-sabi feel to the arena of fashion that is currently under fire for serving an overly demanding schedule. Agos is a curated collection of affordable upcycled clothing that are ready to be appreciated and worn by their new wearers. Fronted by fresh face Julianna Cruz, the campaign evokes a sleepy Gothic beachside look composed of bombers, denim skirts, kimonos and pajamas.

Y-3 Qasa 2016 Exclusive Release at Black Market

A blend of sports functionality, fashion aesthetic and innovative design is one of the reasons for Y-3's success. It is a collaboration between Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto and adidas, which became a catalyst for a new category for fashion and sportswear. In its success in various influential countries in the world, Y-3 expanded and has landed in the Philippines in 2012 with their first boutique in Bonifacio Global City. And after almost four years here in the country, the brand continues to show no signs of slowing down, this coming February 24, Y-3 Philippines is about to release the Qasa High in an exclusive launch at Black Market. The two colorways of the Qasa High will only be available in the country in that launch, which will start by 8:00pm. The Qasa High is one of Y-3's most sought-after styles, boasting a cult following that appreciates its version of a hi-top trainer with the familiar tubular rubber outsole. For the coming launch, interested buyers will be presented with two versions of the model, one in white that is mostly made with lycra and goatskin materials, and another one in black mostly made with polyester and bovine materials. We recommend you however to get to Black Market for the Y-3 Qasa Launch around 7:00pm, just to be sure to get yourself a pair.

Nights of Rizal - Penelope (Made Up)

After a long time of not producing an original track, Nights of Rizal releases a new flavor with Penelope (Made Up). The track is his first release from his upcoming Summer/Salt album. A post-disco and chillwave track that retains NoR's sound, nostalgic but progressive. He expresses an attraction to a woman in control, a bittersweet happening of wanting and not getting. Though it's a sad story as it suggests, Nights of Rizal makes it rather exciting, breezing the listener with a continuous upbeat that leaves a moment to ponder but instead brings you to a feel-good mood.
