PROGRESS for Lenovo: 1 of 1 Commemorative Track Hoodie for Kobe Bryant

Last week, on August 12, Los Angeles Lakers superstar and worldwide icon, Kobe Bryant paid the Philippines another visit - but this time it was somewhat different - as he did not showcase his undeniably amazing skills but was here to promote Lenovo's mobile devices. It seems like the NBA superstar has put Manila on his annual worldwide tour every offseason, as he never fails to drop by every year for the past two of three years. Despite the typhoon and suspension of classes during the day Kobe Bryant visited, tons of avid fans and supporters still fought their way to see their idol. Kobe Bryant gave a couple of inspirational talks, answered questions about the future and interacted with the different attendees present.

Local streetwear brand, Progress turns it up as they collaborate with Lenovo for this Commemorative Track Hoodie for Kobe Bryant, which was given to him to acknowledge  the event. The Black fleece hoodie comes in with the complete package - it has a custom Silk pattern patch with Wash Vintage Twill trim; it features a side chest pocket; zipper with pull tab; and a Lenovo custom pattern lining.

It's a good mix though, as you'll hear how smooth the track goes all throughout.

UNSCHLD x Titan x SBTG: Deer Valley Titans 2013 Lookbook

UNSCHLD, Titan and SBTG is set to release their 3rd installment of the Deer Valley Titan. This creative collaboration progressed to be one of the most anticipated locally-released yearly collaborations in Manila. Mixing minds from a collective of idealists coming from different influences, the DVT collection continuously and successfully comes out well-designed and well put-together. The theme of this collection is set in 1991, and in the words of Mark Ong, more known as SBTG,

Oxfords, flannels, road shirts, crewnecks, football and baseball tees are “punk-tuated” with parodied symbols popularized by these two powerhouses: the smiley face from Nirvana’s Nevermind album and the snake off Metallica’s Black album. The “Ball Face” to represent ironic mischief and rebellion, and the “Snake Fist” to portray someone steady, yet firm and aggressive. “These 2 icons also happen to represent UNSCHLD, Titan and SBTG’s DNA”

Check out a preview of the lookbook below featuring Chris Banchero, Kevin Alas, Sudan Daniel, Diego Castillo and Mong Alcaraz. Complete lookbook at www.deervalleytitans.com

WIP Caps x GearHead - The Black Mamba

Local premiere headwear brand WIP Caps collaborates with GearHead to come up with a new colorway for one of their classic designs, then aptly call it "The Black Mamba." A Kobe Bryant tribute, this second installment comes up with some tasteful revisions. First to impress is its snakeskin brim and strapback. The Mamba also lurks in the underbrim courtesy of a purple print on black brim. And the stealth-yet-deadly look is nailed by the black panel, with "Kobe" written in a raised Kanji logo to strike fear into the eyes of anyone looking. This design is available exclusively at GearHead with only 110 pieces produced.
