Neon Island "Crimson & Clover" Lookbook

Dear foxy ladies, the latest capsule collection of Neon Island is made just for you. “Crimson and Clover” is all about fresh sober colors which is reminiscent of the Wes Anderson’s Darjeeling Limited color palette. Jumper dresses, thick fabrics and flares are the collection’s highlight pieces. Plus of course, a signature floral hand painted print, on delicate tops and a slip dress. It’s for those who love to carry a relaxed yet authoritative look. Shot in film photography by Denise San Jose, modeled by Gabs Gibbs and Dani Luna, while hair and make-up done by Josephine Roncal. The lookbook was also shot in the Pinto Art Museum and styled and directed by Neon Island founders, Aira Medina and Chi Gibbs.

Following a successful first collaboration last year, Puma links up once again with Parisian fashion label Brooklyn We Go Hard (BWGH) on another round of footwear. The German footwear brand's R698 runner gets used as the canvas for another set of subdued colorways. And in true BWGH fashion, it's really the little details like the use of premium suede and nubuck that really set things off. Sud - Sila

There's nothing like the blend of sincere lyrics and soulful music. Dig in to this new track from local band Sud. The dive starts with the saxophone before vocalist/guitarist Sud Ballecer starts his serenade as guitar chords and snare hoop hits guide him in the beginning of this tale of genuine and loyal love. The first round of the hook follows this format to make the words "Walang sagot sa tanong / Kung bakit ka mahalaga / Walang papantay sa'yo" hit their mark. The second verse is where everybody join forces. They collectively add more pleasure factor to this sexy tune before calming down and stare at contented faces to close out the show.

Volcom x Backyard Skatepark: Wild in the Parks

Coming to the Philippines this August 21, 2015, is Volcom's Wild in the Parks, an amateur skateboard contest series that is part of the Volcom "Let The Kids Ride Free" initiative. Volcom Philippines is hosting the local Wild in the Parks for the first time with Backyard Skatepark in hopes of finding the best Filipino skateboarder a chance to compete at the Volcom x The Berrics Wild in the Parks in Los Angeles, California on October 17, 2015. On the Philippines edition of the Wild in the Parks, there will be two free divisions for local skateboarders to compete on, the open division and the 21 and under. Skateboarders who will join the open division will have the chance to win the all expense paid trip to Global Championships in Los Angeles.

WIP Caps MNL Sta. Ana

Local premier headwear maker WIP Caps puts the sixth and final chapter to their Distrito Series. Stay ahead of the race with the MNL Sta Ana. The dome and bill takes inspiration of the race track that Sta Ana is mostly known for. They are constructed using a black quilted leather, reminiscent of a premier horse saddle. Gold embroideries adorn up front and at the back, to illustrate the rich local heritage that the people of Manila should take care of. On the front panels is the word "MNL". A Team: The Demo Vol 04 Recap Video

A-Team is back with their fourth installation of their much anticipated benefit dance concert/fundraiser event for the 2015 World Hip Hop Dance Championship in San Diego, USA where they received bronze in the Mega Crew division. Last July 11, 2015, A-Team held a fundraising concert, the Demo Vol 4, at the SM Skydome North EDSA. In this event, A-team showed their hottest moves as well as guest performances from well-known dance crews.
