The dome and bill takes inspiration of the race track that Sta Ana is mostly known for. They are constructed using a black quilted leather, reminiscent of a premier horse saddle. Gold embroideries adorn up front and at the back, to illustrate the rich local heritage that the people of Manila should take care of. On the front panels is the word "MNL".
