Rekta Silangan released their Sagada Loop trailer, and it's not for the Faint of Heart

Picture this: it's a glum rainy day, with the skies nearing zero-visibility and the ground considerably wet, nearing accident-prone levels. You're at the mountains of Sagada, a little too close for comfort with the mountains a little higher than the flat plains you're used to. At this point, most people would just head home and call it a day.

The Sagada Loopers of Rekta Silangan - a collective of fixed gear enthusiasts - are not most people. Prior to withstanding these conditions, they' biked from Manila to Nueva Ecija and Vizcaya, Banaue, Mt. Polis, Sagada, Sabangan, then Mt. Data, and on the way back they passed by Baguio City before arriving back to Manila. The loop lasted from February 6, 2016 to February 14, 2016, clocking the ride at 8 days. And with the whole trip chronicled by a team of photographers, they're set to release a documentary of it - not only of the ride itself, but of the beauty of the surroundings. You can find out more about it on their Vimeo account.
