Most likely as usual T-Shirts lang with different prints. Frankly all of them yun lang naman ang alam gawin eh.

Atleast pag Nick Automatic mas may saysay at artwork and T-Shirt print.

GISING!

^ I might have to agree you but Groupe De Ville and Creative Elite Operation actually create some clothing pieces that you don't easily find elsewhere. Yes, the graphic T-Shirts are all played out, but I'm actually looking forward to the buttondowns from this release. Ciao!

Alam mo lahat e.

Group De Vill and Creative Elite Operation are copies of old designs from Human and you will see most of them in SM Department Stores too. Both just copies from local department stores

It makes sense, All these clothing lines only makes T-Shirts with various graphic designs and occasional jackets and button down shirts. Somehow they all have the same T-Shirt suppliers and the same button down shirt designs. After a while it gets sickening because they don't really anything to offer than just that. It kind of shows they don't really have any knowledge in street wear or fashion.

Anyone who knows any better on what street wear and doesn't even have to be knowledgeable about it can safely say that they are all the same. Yes I think they are just T-Shirt wear lines.

Just all graphic designers and groupies printing on T-Shirts. Nothing more.

It is 2013!

Graphic Artists that print on T-Shirts is not what Streetwear makes.

I think they are better off making album covers not street wear since they are only graphic artists.

What is streetwear really? Educate us please.

Guys! I-lahat na nyo na. I mean pareparehas naman silang lahat diba?? Just to name a few. To tell you guys nakakasawa na mga designs nya puro nalang full printed shirts. Walang evolution sa brand na yun. Wala ako against sa project na ito. Sana tumahimik muna tayo and maghintay nalang ng ilalabas nila.

Just sayin.

According to wikipedia: "Street wear is a distinctive style of street fashion. Rooted in West Coast surf and skate culture, it has grown to encompass elements of hip hop fashion, Japanese street fashion, and modern Haute couture fashion."

Only 2 names in Philippine Fashion was really ever "street wear" and introduced it to Philippine culture. It was Cecil Zamora of Defect and Adam De Lumen of Havoc Street Couture.

Both popularly pushed fashion to allow street wear take main stage in Philippine fashion run ways and change the conservative Philippine way of dressing, and allowing young designers to come in and flourish. Sadly there has been none after them to remotely follow in Philippine fashion to define and create street wear.

All these clothing lines are simply T-Shirts lines. Graphic Artists printing on T-Shirts does not constitute street wear. Hope this is helpful to those who has no knowledge of street wear.

To give more respect to the only 2 purveyors of real "Street Wear" in the Philippines (both Cecile Zamora & Adam De Lumen).

It is insulting to both the 2 designers and the youth in that era that went through lengths for Philippine fashion and the impact both designers have made and created that permanently change the Philippine fashion landscape forever in the mid to late 90's to blatantly just use the term "streetwear" to a group of people/graphic artists simply printing on mass produced T-Shirts sold in bulk so they can re-sell them with their print and sew their labels on them so as to call it a "clothing line of street wear".

agree. masyadong mahal sa low quality na mga damit at parepareho lang naman. trying hard lang maging street. masyadong feel na feel gamiting ang term na "collaboration" pero at the end of it T-shirt lang naman lahat at mga button down shirt at tama ka walang katapusan na pocket t-shirt.

I hear nung panahon na yon ang talagang gathering for streetwear and alternative lifestyle people to sell clothes, music and party is called Consortium that bring in world class djs like Carl Cox and Goldie to name a few. I remember nga yung Defect at Havoc from my older relatives that yung nga yung naririning ko na street wear pero nung time na yon gradeschool lang lahat ang mga fans ng mga brands or clothing line na ito kaya hindi nila alam talaga.

AGREE!

When I was in high school during the Defect and Havoc times, everyone was rebelling against the fashion norm and yes that was the street wear era when some schools would even ban students from wearing Havoc in Poveda because street wear was growing so strong and the voice of self expression in Philippine fashion made so many school authority figures nervous.

True! They should focus on album covers than clothes...they have more future in graphic design than apparel.

OH YEAH! CONSORTIUM OF GROOVE NATION! THOSE WERE THE DAYS! THATS REAL MUSIC AND STREETWEAR! THOSE EVENTS ARE SO UNDERGROUND BEFORE THE INTERNET AND SOCIAL MEDIA AGE THAT THOSE EVENTS ARE HARD TO LOCATE AND THEY ONLY GIVE OUT FLYERS AND A MAP! WORLD CLASS DJS AND THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WOULD GATHER.

I still have plenty of Havoc Street Wear from those days! I agree Havoc and Defect are the only street wear brands to this day. The rest are spin offs from camouflage and those t-shirts which I have seen in their stores for over 10 years now. If you know Havoc and Defect, nothing that these clothing lines are doing anything unique, innovative and streetwear.

UNSCHLD is just a wanna be street wear label and the rest goes for all these brands.

Dear Perveyor,

salamat!

Havoc! Yes the street wear days!!!! I miss the Consortiums too!

from what I remember from my brother and his friends, you have to be around the fashion scene of street wear back in 96' when street wear all began. Havoc and Defect are the 2 brands that introduced streetwear in the Philippines. Cecile Zamora is the designer of Defect and is now the blogger Chuvaness. Adam De Lumen is the designer of Havoc.

Consortium is a big underground party/event by a group of djs and music producers named Groove Nation that are the first to bring in the biggest DJ names like the father of house music Carl Cox before Big Fish started throwing dj events. Groove Nation is owned by Toti Dalmacion.

I do hope Purveyor finds a way to feature them so the readers find out what and who streetwear really are. Little can be found in the internet because back in those days there was no such thing as google or social media platoforms like facebook, bloggers, twitter and even wikipedia.

It also doesn't help that they were "underground" designers. I hope my little information helps because I was only 13 years old when those 2 designers introduced streetwear in Philippine Fashion.

There is nothing wrong with graphic t-shirts, it becomes all played out because all there designs look alike and nothing new ever comes out. Even their graphic design skills and ideas are limited let alone being a streetwear brand. These clothing lines are bunch of BS

I don't think people here commenting are all haters, some if not most are simply stating the obvious about these clothing lines. It only takes a short while before people realize that these clothing lines are a bunch of talentless hacks all producing T-Shirts and doing nothing more apart from being "wanna be" streetwear brands.

I think these clothing lines are confusing streetwear from street credit. lol.

Give me Defect or Havoc anytime! That's streetwear!

A word to all the wanna be clothing lines...You can't fool people in the internet age. Stop pretending to be streetwear.

Where can I buy Defect or Havoc?

Yes lahat sila!

If you are looking for Group De Ville and Creative elite Operation, try various boutiques in malls or even Oxygen and Human, they both just copy from local stores in malls and you will find their designs even in department stores like SM and Robinsons

Yup yup! Lahat sila.

AGREE. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR STREETWEAR, THERE ARE ONLY 2 BRANDS THAT ARE REALLY STREETWEAR IN THE PHILIPPINES, HAVOC OR DEFECT AND THAT'S IT!

lol, mali spelling mo pare!

AGREE! mga wanna be streetwear sila

"Groupe De Ville, Ambitious Clothing Co., Threedown, Newspaper Boy Clothing, Elevate Apparel and Creative Elite Operation - all geared towards one big project that will redefine local streetwear and menswear all-together." sorry pero hindi sila street wear, wanna be street wear lang sila lahat.

If you want real streetwear from the 2 brands that started it all and introduced streetwear in the Philippines, I suggest look up Havoc by Adam De Lumen and Defect by Cecile Zamora. nuf said!

Diba Cecile Zamora is Grocery not Defect?

Go Nick Automatic! Tayong mga jejemon ang future ng streetwear!

Ayos toh! Nick Automatic ang the best kasi pang jejemon like us!

pano sila naging high end? pa over price sila pero poor quality naman at mura lang mga materials. pa streetwear kuno na, pa high end pa. Nick Automatic unite! Jejemons unite!

tsk tsk task. ganyang talaga pag mga walang talents, kahit magsamasama at mag collaborate silang lahat, wanna be streetwear at posers parin and kakalabasan.

Operation Poser at Wanna be coming soon!

Talentless hacks from colleges collaborating with other talentless hacks and posers!

Puro hater haha pare makaluma alam nyo new breed na to yan nyo sila trip Nila e. Kung d nyo trip move on make your own brand para cool kids na ren kayo.

Excuse me? I'm sorry but we are talking about street wear not squater wear like Nick Automatic!

Yung ginawa ng havoc has been done even before them it's "fashion" paulet ulet lng at Puro gayahan

I think Groupe De Ville, Ambitious Clothing Co., Threedown, Newspaper Boy Clothing, Elevate Apparel and Creative Elite Operation are more like F&H and People R People.

I have plenty of stuff from the days of Havoc, Grocery, and Defect and I'm proud to say they are nothing close to what they make now. Havoc & Defect/Grocery have 2 very different identities and style but all these brands now look alike and to make it worst they just look like stuff from Oxygen, Human, F&H and People R People.

Lets just wait what their collaborations will come out with before we prejudge.

Tanga! hahaha.

oo nga kaya nagkalat sila Groupe De Ville, Ambitious Clothing Co., Threedown, Newspaper Boy Clothing, Elevate Apparel, Progress, UNSCHLD, Bakecon, Tailor Gang Bespoke at Creative Elite Operation

EH SI MIGGY REGALA LANG NAMAN TO EH HAHAHHAA

I miss shopping in Havoc and Defect. ;-)

Makakamukha lahat.

TULUNGAN

huh? anong pinagsasabi mo dyan?

Excuse me!

Basyo! spot on and description sa Groupe De Ville, Ambitious Clothing Co., Threedown, Newspaper Boy Clothing, Elevate Apparel at Creative Elite Operation

Ibig sabihin Streetwear talaga sila Groupe De Ville, Ambitious Clothing Co., Threedown, Newspaper Boy Clothing, Elevate Apparel and Creative Elite Operation.

T-shirt wear pwede pa

Wow. Can't you guys just appreciate the local hustle? People tryna make a name for themselves. It's not all about screen printing on plain shirts, it's also about conceptualizing everything and coming up with good print designs. If you think of it as just prints on shirts, you really ARE better off shopping at the department store rather than supporting artistic minds trying to do their own thing. GET OUTA HERE

Sadly yes, department stores have better clothes to offer than Groupe De Ville, Ambitious Clothing Co., Threedown, Newspaper Boy Clothing, Elevate Apparel and Creative Elite Operation. Sorry but its' the truth.

Plus why not buy stuff from where they all just copy like F&H, People R People, Oxygen and Human to name a few.

The designer of Defect/Grocery is the Blogger Chuvaness.com now and the designer of Havoc is a New York based street wear and high fashion line already. :-) <..> ~^^~

I think you mean malaking joke ang collaboration nila

Been reading down this blog's thread of comments and whats the big deal of the meaning of streetwear? It's all about what you make and design. In fashion one should know, what started in the street ends up on the run ways of Paris, New York, Milan, London and Tokyo then back to the street where it all began.

Simply put...what you wear in the street is what streetwear really is.

As for Havoc and Defect vs comparing Groupe De Ville, Ambitious Clothing Co., Threedown, Newspaper Boy Clothing, Elevate Apparel and Creative Elite Operation, I see no basis for comparison vs seasoned designers from very young brands.

Simply put, you can't compare those 6 brands based on the limited style and clothes they make against innovative and avante garde designers like Havoc and Defect. There is simply no point of comparison.

Those 2 designers put streetwear and even "street fashion" in the Philippine culture back in 96'. Somehow knowing the past could be very helpful to new brands like these 6 who are trying to make a name in the Philippine scene.

With the abundant resource of the internet, social media, and electronic gadgets, more is expected from these 6 new brands and hopefully this collaboration can show that they have taken street wear to the next level in the Philippines.

Looking forward to the result of the collaboration. Best wishes!

Dont hate the player hate the game!

Kung di mo alam Havoc at Defect getta outta here you don't belong in this scene at mag Nick Automatic ka nalang dahil kahit Groupe De Ville, Ambitious Clothing Co., Threedown, Newspaper Boy Clothing, Elevate Apparel at Creative Elite Operation di bagay sayo!

pok! tinamaan sa ulo sila Groupe De Ville, Ambitious Clothing Co., Threedown, Newspaper Boy Clothing, Elevate Apparel at Creative Elite Operation! hahahahah

Its all about the gansta hustle! eto ang realidad. BOW

dude look at the stuff all of these 6 designers! come on! they all suck. talking about no talents and style!

Buti pa UNSCHLD at Progress kahit papano may street credit

kwela talaga nung may Havoc at Defect pa.

Why dont you guys complain straight forward to the brands themselves? Why waste time here? Instead of whining and complaining why not opt for a suggestion to help the brands? Are you guys that good or that wise to help others? And why would these brands start their own business if they dont know what they're doing? I got nothing against NICKAUTOMATIC but they're not really even a streetwear brand? "Why would you call a brand a streetwear brand if it has really nothing to do with the street culture?" - Revok. Lemme point out something to you guys, CEO, Newspaper boy, GDV, Ambitious Clothing, Elevate. They all have one thing in common they make men's wear, may it be Printed T-shirts, Caps, Button Downs they all focus on the evolution of Clothing here in the PH. Well for us, ThreeDown we try to break barriers in the proper mens wear and street wear. We give you guys what you need not only in our products but in the services we give like video's to show you whats really happening in our STREET CULTURE here in the Philippines. We support skaters, Bmx riders, rappers, dj's, even poets. We give something back in our culture. And we give meaning in every design we make if you dont believe that please dont hesitate please check out our FB page, Blogspot, Youtube channel or whatever and if I prove you wrong that we dont support our culture, our STREET CULTURE by all means please tells us and I will personally shut down my company, but if I prove you right well then atleast I educated you and shed some light your dark one sided mind. And dont even think of saying "Oh you have abra as your friend and he reps it at shows, and tv shootings." because if you do say that please feel free to ask abra himself or any of his friends we dont tell him to wear our products. People like him and our customers wear our shit because it has meaning and it conveyed something real. Hey you can call me a hack designer so what? Im just trying to get my message out. So if you guys we respect the hustle we put in then fine we dont care but please have some dignity in yourselves and dont drag your fellow country men down coz honestly it wont help you, me or anyone. And if you keep talking and making all that buzz you guys are making us fucking famouuuusssssssssss. :> And if you got complaints please feel free to hit us up on facebook. Thatsssss Fb.com/threedownclothing

P.S.
Please come of that anonymous shit, its only making you look like a pussy. Peace!

Ken Yamaguchi
Owner/Head Designer
THREEDOWN

Putang ina niyong lahat mag plain t-shirt nalang kayo ang aarte niyo. And dami niyong reklamo.

^ HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, TALANGKA MENTALITY!

Tangina mo Anonymous wag mo kausapin sarili mo!

lokohin mo lelang mong panot!

Sad to say that all of you have limited style and if you want to break fashion barriers in proper menswear and streetwear it will take more than your designs that basic and available even in department stores

This is the result when people with no style and even substance force themselves into making clothes!

Sorry to say these brands are just a big joke! they don't even have any style let alone talents and they dream of changing and redefining Philippine Streetwear!

More power! You will really need it before your brand disappears before 2013 ends

tanga! isa karin sa Anonymous pare!

Dear Ken Yamaguchi of Threedown,

According to you, "They all have one thing in common they make men's wear, may it be Printed T-shirts, Caps, Button Downs they all focus on the evolution of Clothing here in the PH. Well for us, ThreeDown we try to break barriers in the proper mens' wear and street wear."

Do you get out much? The streetwear fashion has evolved a long time ago from your printed tees, button downs and caps. As for breaking barriers, you might want to step out of your house to see that your fashion and designs can't break barriers.

Fashion and Streetwear has evolved already so far ahead that none of you could comprehend or even catch up. So please stop preaching and pretending. You are just all T-Shirt, caps and button down shirt makers with no influence at all in streetwear, street culture, street fashion and even local Manila fashion.

You really need to come out of your primitive cave, put down the silk screen along with your other fellow brands and see Fashion has evolved and has obviously left all 6 of you behind in dark ages.

I think these comments is not a buzz that makes you famous. This buzz/comments are showing people that you and the brands have really nothing to offer and is a big joke to streetwear

These kids need to study Advertising and Business. They think that all it takes them is to sew button down shirts, buy caps and put their logo, print on t-shirts and make graphic logos and they have a brand. They don't have the slightest clue on how to build a brand.

Stop calling yourself a Brand. You are all backyard gigs!

Pasok! Tinamaan lahat sa mukha sila Groupe De Ville, Ambitious Clothing Co., Threedown, Newspaper Boy Clothing, Elevate Apparel at Creative Elite Operation.

hahahah ayaw pa kasi mag give up at itigil mga kalokohan nila eh.

Salbahe kayo!

"Forbes Richest Filipinos na ang tatay nya ay top 19 richest man in the Philippines."

Wow,that's so "STREET"

Collaboration's new meaning is kopyahan
