Sole Academy: New Balance M576 "Flimby Anniversary"

Continuously being the best in class, Sole Academy is yet again about to turn it up with the much-awaited release of the New Balance M576 "Flimby Factory 30th Anniversary" Pack in their store. The "Flimby Pack" features three M576's in the collection; the sneakers are added a bit of fire with an either suede, nubuck or leather upper, a bunch of diverse set of detailed linings and other various additions. The pack is in honor to three UK New Balance employees -  Billy Edgar, Andy Mandle and Roy Bell. Each sneaker has its own distinction and identity, making each sneaker incredibly unique and one-of-a-kind. Keep Sole Academy in check to be in-know of the release of the pack and in-store photos.  Billy Edgar x New Balance M576 "Flimby 30th Anniversary" Collection

Crafted by Billy Edgar himself who has been in the factory for 22 years. His version mainly features its smokey leather upper and contrasted by black and olive; in addition to that, the sneaker possesses some interesting detail - commemorative tongue tag, Union Jack flag by the heel and golden lace clips - the black and green detailed linings should not be overlooked.

Roy Bell x New Balance M576 "Flimby 30th Anniversary" Collection

28-year New Balance Flimby veteran, Roy Bell and his version of M576 is zeroed in on the suede base with intricate leather detailing with grey, blue and black color scheme. Features the iconic add-ons - Union Jack flag, commemorative tongue tag and the gold lace clips.

Andy Mandle x New Balance M576 "Flimby 30th Anniversary" Collection

The last of the "Flimby Pack", 12 year New Balance veteran, Andy Mandle puts his own kind of spin on the M576. His version features a plaid collar together with a dark grey, premium suede built and nicely contrasted with black leather on the heel and red tartan on the lining. It does feature the "Flimby Pack" usuals - the "1982" and "2012" gold lace clips, the Union Jack flag and commemorative tongue tag.
