Purveyr x Our Awesome Planet Instameet: Bangkal Vintage Strip

Instagram has grown to a global community of millions and millions of people capturing and sharing moments through photos. It continues to give its users unique opportunities to create content through the use of photos and hashtags.  Last May 18, InstameetPH joined fellow Instagrammers around the world to celebrate #WWIM9 by hosting an Instagram walk in Makati. Because of the good turnout of the event, Purveyr and Our Awesome Planet decided to team up to bring you yet another Instagram Walk this July.

Purveyr x Our Awesome Planet Instameet: Bangkal Vintage Strip will be held on July 12 at 3PM. The walk will start at Mcdonald's, Makati Cinema Square making its way to the Bangkal Vintage Strip and end in the Purveyr Pop-Up space, where there will be a mini gathering for all the participants.

THE Clothing June 2014 Collection Video Lookbook

THE Clothing's Block Party is a yearly fete where they most likely just be themselves and let loose a little harder. It's an excuse to be a little wilder from their already rebellious attitude. Also, in the true spirit of THE, they will release another incredible collection. This video lookbook features the pieces that they will release on June 28 at B-Side, Collective, Makati City. It is accompanied by Raimund Marasigan / Squid 9's beats.

French electronic music duo Daft Punk link up with Japanese toy manufacturers Medicom Toy on a small collection of BE@RBRICK figures. Available in both 100% and 400% sizes, the toys come dressed up in their Random Access Memories outfits designed by Hedi Slimane. The toys will be sold in twos and will be available locally through Secret Fresh.

Threedown has recently released their "fuckyosummer2014" collection as a post-summer offering. The video lookbook is a nod to the usual grit and rawness of the brand. It is accompanied by theatre music to complete the almost-dark feel of the lookbook. The collection consists of graphic t-shirts donning big prints and designs that express the brand's philosophy and character. 

Vans Philippines Go Skateboarding Day 2014

Last June 21, 2014, the world celebrated Go Skateboarding Day. The local skateboarding community did just that, as they spent the whole day skateboarding. With the help of Vans Philippines, they had a huge place to get-together and play. The Vans Go Skateboarding Day event happened in the World Trade Convention Center, where hundreds of skaters/skateboarders came to participate. It seems that the community has only grown bigger and stronger every year.
