Multiply it to probably 5 folds, and you'll have a glimpse of what will go down on the 21st of December 2012. Ironically named "The End", this is actually a birth of a new era, when the underground big guns can go hand in hand with omnipresent bigger brands. It is a great synthesis of sorts, more so in a creative and distinct sense. It is the niche of niches, a community within a community, bigger and badder.

This will truly end the year in a high note. Let us bring you the journey of this significant intermix of minds and efforts, walk with us. Stay tuned as we continuously bring you news and behind-the-scenes actions here in this page, until we say hello to Two Thousand Thirteen. Que Horror: Art Exhibit by Lala Gallardo

Mixed-media artist Lala Gallardo-Samson holds her art exhibit "Que Horror" at the Bernal Gallery in U.P. Diliman. It will feature paper cuts by the said artist as well as oil paintings by Tin Garcia. The horror-themed exhibit actually opened on December 21 but will nonetheless be open for viewing on January 2-16. Have a look on some of the pieces to be showcased after the jump.

Sole Academy takes a trip down memory lane as they bring in four familiar Air Max's into their shelves. Known for their popular profile within the past two decades, the Air Max revolutionized the sneaker game; all part of a long line of successful Air Max styles, and Sole Academy are the latest to bring them all back. Ambitious Holiday 2012

Typographic-focused clothing brand Ambitious comes out with a Holiday release to cap-off the year. In the release, they came out with one design in two colorways. Staying true to their idea, their "Champagne Wishes, Caviar Dreams" tees connote ambition within the high society. The tee comes in maroon and lichen green.

ThreeDown Christmas BBQ Recap

ThreeDown summoned people from the hip-hop scene last December 18 for some music, barbecue and booze in Makati. The night was never dull with all the like-minded individuals converging and doing their thing. Nuno and Graver had a live art session and ended up with dope pieces for the host's walls. Spoken word was also alive courtesy of Wordplay's resident performers. RBTO, Indio, GnarRate and Jeff Bago also performed and had people bumping to their songs. Sprinkling some cyphers and an out-of-nowhere just-for-fun rap battle, ThreeDown definitely threw one hell of a party. Check out how crazy the night was after the jump.

Holiday Urban Bazaar Recap

Last Saturday at The Collective courtyard, like-minded urban enthusiasts got together for the Holiday Urban Bazaar, organized by Stratosphere Productions. The event was swarmed by tons of people that were interested in different sorts of the urban subcultures. There were fashion-inclined ones who scoured the booths to find some great clothes, accessories and footwear. Some were hip-hop fans, as they waited for the performances of the famous artists like Rjay of LDP, Abra, Josef Amarra and more. While others enjoyed skating around the area while the event is going on. But there are also others who are just a complete urban aficionado, who enjoyed every aspect of the HUB. Ron Henley - Hagdan feat. Kat Agarrado

Ron Henley brings his pen game to another level with the release of his song Hagdan. He collaborated with Kat Agarrado on this one, resulting in a truly inspiring and wonderfully crafted song. Ron tells the story of a man enslaved by his vices as the emcee shows off his amazing choice of words and  flawlessly fires them in brilliantly schemed rhymes. Multi-disciplinary pop artist Christian Tamondong holds a solo art exhibit tonight, 6pm at Secret Fresh, Ronac Art Center. First broke the art scene as a painter, Christian has gone a long way and has involved himself with different media while still communicating his usual young,vibrant,whimsy artistic style. His latest work include vinyl toy creations and he has in fact collaborated with San Francisco-based icon Huck Gee for a designer toy release named "Pu-chaa" earlier in the year. Titan Exclusive: Air Force 1 Bday QS '30th Anniversary'

Nike continues to celebrate the 30th anniversary of probably their most iconic and popular shoe for the past three decades which as first introduced in 1982 - the Nike Air Force One. Titan brings this celebration to the Metro as they bring in the initially-inspired by the presidential Air Force One plane. UNSCHLD Logo Tee "Navy" #10DAZEOFX - Day 2

Elevate Apparel Holiday Urban Bazaar Releases

Elevate Apparel adds more to the holiday spirit as it gets ready to release two new shirts during the first ever Holiday Urban Bazaar. They're releasing the 'Winners Never Quit, Quitters Never Win' t-shirt (seen above) that comes in maroon with white accents; and the 'Fortune Favors The Brave' t-shirt (seen after the break) that comes in white with maroon accents - each shirt having alternating colors to one another. Elevate does a good job with these shirts, introducing a rather new style to the scene, very fresh to the eyes - definitely a must get this Christmas season.
