WIP Caps WIPSK8 Summer 2014 Collection

WIP Caps further manifests their love for the local skate scene. Here's the introduction to the WIPSK8 team as they rock some fresh shirts and caps from their upcoming Summer 2014 Collection. #ONEVIBEPH Recap

The #onevibeph happened a few weeks back with numerous DJ acts, international and local who rocked and raved the stage. It was a party to be remembered, probably one of the more bigger parties that happened and will happen in Manila this year. KJah - Gunita feat. BLKD

Off his successful 2013 album Sa Gitna Ng Prusisyon, KJah releases the official music video of Gunita. Featuring BLKD on music produced by Apoc, the duo lifts the torch in hopes of illuminating the minds of their fellow countrymen. They also had some beer and carnival time in the process along with their brothers in UPRISING. Hats off to director Kevin Vea and editor Paco Raterta for the song's amazing visual treatment.

Danceplaycreate - PURVEYR SET

Rockheads turned electronic producers DancePlayCreate graced the Purveyr Pop-Up Launch April this year with a live set tailored for the event. The live set, aptly named "PURVEYR SET" was shared by the trio act on their Soundcloud just recently for all of us to enjoy. The whole joint flows true to the Purveyr DNA featuring a wide mix of genres that represent the youth, the culture, and everything in between.

Black Scale x Gourmet Quattro Skate 2

Building off a successful collaboration last year, streetwear brand Black Scale joins forces with Gourmet once again on a small collection of footwear. This year's joint effort brings forth luxe takes on the 35 Lite and Quattro Skate 2 silhouettes. The former is draped entirely in python textured leather while the latter is built with a black full-grain leather upper with snakeskin details on the forefoot and tongue. There's no word yet on whether the 35 Lite LX will be hitting local stores, but the Quattro Skate 2 is available now at The Sneakpeek.

Chief: Hypebeast Magazine Issue 7 "The Legacy Issue"

More than just a clothing brand, Chief also sells various independent magazines which relates to their brand. Hypebeast Magazine is one of their mainstay magazine brands, and they have just released a new issue featuring Michael Jordan on the cover. The issue tackles the influence of sports to modern culture, which have features of adidas, Nike, Astrid Andersen, Rav Matharu and more. Rightfully so, the issue is titled "The Legacy Issue". They are now available in Chief's online store. 

Nike Kobe 9 EM GS 'Floral'

Modern basketball shoes has been transitioning to just being worn in the court to being worn everywhere else. This change is influenced by a lot of factors but one that's a lot significant are the designs that basketball shoe brands come out with. Take this Nike Kobe 9 EM GS 'Floral' as an example, with that design, I'm sure a lot would want to express their love for basketball and the sneaker culture in a stylish manner. This Kobe 9 is already available in all select Nike retailers.

Paolo Arciga - Keep Dreamin'

Paolo Arciga, the keyboardist for The Strangeness, has just released a track showing his personal tastes in music. "Keep Dreamin" is a track that is as raw, as raw can mostly be. Slow down folk music with pop country-like vocals to soothe a sad soul. Listening to it, makes it hard not to think about the music your father loved in the past. However, its not the old song that you dreaded when you were younger, it's the old song that relaxed you unconsciously and now brings memories of good times.
