Fresh off its founding in 2015, the independent Cebu-based retail line Glitchgrafiks launches its Heather Grey collection. Shirt companies have been mushrooming as of late, but what sets apart the husband-and-wife team effort of Tope and Jea is material--only 100% cotton or offshoot mixes like lightweight Syrotex. Heather Grey makes muses out of the strange from the silver screen, starring prints by Monica Alcudia. With a homegrown ethos and artist collaborations, Glitchgrafiks very well could be the next label to go from new kid on the block to local fashion rising star.  

Shaira Luna: Anywhere But Arizona

Among the many photos from various campaigns and publications in Shaira Luna’s page is a personal album. With the title “Anywhere but Arizona” it’s evident that the theme is all about the summer heat. Model Melissa effortlessly posed for the camera and Shaira captured the candidness perfectly. The set of photos are all in warm tones and reminds you of vintage photographs. In her signature soft style, it made looking bored under the blazing sun look fun. The personal editorial project by Shaira wouldn't be possible with the help of Ryuji Shiomitsu and Nicole Horto for styling, Xeng Zulueta for hair and make-up and for the effortless look of Melissa of Elite Agency.

AMPLIFIIED: The Amplify.ph 2nd Anniversary Show

Since 2013, Amplify.ph has been providing us with good Filipino music with a wide range of genres and a curated selection of artists. To celebrate the success of the website from its humble beginnings, Amplify.ph will be staging AMPLIFIIED on July 11, 8PM-12MN, at Route 196 in Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City. Not only will fans be able to enjoy music from some of the country's top artists, they will also be part of this momentous occasion as Amplify.ph will be unveiling their new logo to go hand-in-hand with their goal to broaden the website's scope in covering more than just music. This shift aims to bring Amplify.ph to a whole new direction to cater to more users, giving them fresh music and more interactive content.

DC Global Skate Jam 2015 Recap

Last July 21, 2015, DC Philippines celebrated the much-anticipated yearly worldwide skateboarding event, Go Skateboarding Day. The brand hosted the DC Global Skate Jam for one whole day at the Backyard Skatepark in Laguna. The event held a day of camaraderie around the culture of skateboarding. Skateboarders around the Philippines went to celebrate with them. Besides the free skate at the skatepark all day, the DC team held competitions to make it a lot more interesting for the event-goers. The Best Grind, Longest Ollie and Best Run competitions were bagged by local skateboarder, Rasheed Al Rasheed while being second in the Bowl Jam competition to Richard Sanchez. And lastly, Lornel Bihasa won the highest ollie. To cap it all off, they ended the day with music from Jejaview, Faintlight and Indio-I.

Purveyr Presents. the Tattooed Sperry Classic Boat Shoe

As part of our ongoing development of our website, we continuously strive to bring forth useful, inspiring and appealing content. In this note, we are launching this new feature series called, Purveyr Presents., where we will present various products and goods through our own style, that entirely fits our website's identity and aesthetic. The first one in this series is the Classic Boat Shoe of Sperry which is tattooed at their concept pop-up, the Customization Bar. They partnered with P&P Tattoo to have tattoo artists ink leather Sperry footwear with any design that one might like. In our case, we opted to keep it a little less graphic and went for a pattern instead. A design that won't alienate Sperry's classic aesthetic, but instead, to elevate its current design to fit a more modern taste. What do you think?

Local hip hop artist Abra releases the music video for his collaboration track with Loonie and Ron Henley. Here's their latest audio-visual offering, Cerberus. The music for this track is produced by Klumcee. Dip into the words that these three emcees spit. They describe the depths that you'll be into if you wish to dig inside their heads. Hale - Saint or Sinner (Official Video)

Hale unveils their second music video for their comeback album “Time and Space”. It was inspired by Hale’s previous struggles, that didn’t stop them to continue and strive to succeed thus the creation of this song. The video was in collaboration with The Love Club which is composed of the gorgeous models John James Uy, Sky Yang, Jessica Yang, Christianna Collings, Marianna Henud, and Janina Manipol. We think it’s the perfect team up to create the vibe the song gives. We could see how much fun this group had from the woods to the waters and even while on the road. When you've got lyrics that bears “oh live your life, don’t change for no one” who wouldn't have a great time, right?
