Last year's Hip Hop International champions, A-Team has partnered with 4AM Hustle Productions to produce an online treat for everyone. We all know how good they are from that winning choreography they did in the world competition, but that has been a while already. So just to entertain everyone again, here's another insane dance routine from them through the tune of Lil Jon's "Bend Ova" track with Tyga. Nothing beats a great collaboration of great dancing and videography. View the video above.

Ursus et Cervus Holiday '14 Lookbook
at
9.1.15
Lifestyle brand, Ursus et Cervus has released a lookbook to showcase their most recent capsule collection for the 2014 holidays. The lookbook also features a few pieces from Whitefield, which they house in their pop-up space in SOMA Stores. Their newest collection includes t-shirts and a sweatshirt. Also for this collection, the UetC brand brought back their stag icon patches. It represented their start, and seeing it on their products again seems nostalgic and it presents a stronger personality for the brand. The "modern casual ivy-league" aesthetic also came out clear in this collection, but we'll have to see where they will go next after this. Watch the video lookbook above and peep the photos below.

Slick Barbers x Purveyr: Barber Agenda
at
8.1.15
The growing community of barber culture enthusiasts have been capturing interests nationwide. Spearheaded by the Slick Barbers group and complemented by locally-produced pomade brands, the movement is just progressing continuously. Slick Barbers is composed of three barbers namely, Mak Azores, Ez Abinal and Indio Bendana. Imagine a mobile specialty barbershop, well, that sums up who they are. Hosting various barber sessions around the Philippines, usually in partnership with different groups, like clothing brands, retail stores, bike groups, etc. They have proven their reputation as the best at what they are doing, as guerilla barbers. There may be other shops that could do or imitate their cuts, but their appeal does not lie in just a cut. It's a vibe of community and craft rolled into an experience. In lack of terms, even if it's probably unspoken of, there's definitely a sense of cool that's brewing with this crew. We actually really don't know why, maybe it's their passion and dedication to the craft, the barbers' backgrounds and looks, or the character of the community they've created.
We're as curious as you are, that is why we invited them to do a quickstrike event with us. Barber Agenda is happening tomorrow at 2pm at the Purveyr Pop-Up Space in SOMA Stores. Reservations are already full, so we will just invite you to check it out. See what's really special with the Slick Barbers. More details about the event here.

#CommonPublic "Pedicab Stop"
A Photo Series by Marvin Conanan
"This series I will be doing with Purveyr is somehow a celebration of Filipino society and culture, in a very non-glamorous way. It will be a compilation of photographs that express realities around the country. #CommonPublic is a series that aims to reveal uncommon contexts of Filipino life through ordinary scenarios. It will be a candid display of the actual, which will bridge the gap with the world of manipulated online content."
